In the crumbling environs of post war Bosnia, sleep and hunger evade an emotionally desolate watchmaker who helps an old, homeless man kill himself. He is in a virulent relationship with his girlfriend and longs for his mother. He spends his time betting on Chinese football matches, visiting the dilapidated local bar and wandering aimlessly in the ruins of what once used to be a school. He soon begins to feel remorse for his actions and struggles to cope with his feelings of guilt and emptiness.
